The sunlight was shining on a far lone Sierra peak in the distance.
The night was windless, compared to the 40 mph gusts we had on
the previous trip. The temperatures can drop to well below freezing.
Winter sleeping gear is a requirement. One doesn't leave a tent
behind in the car when in the White Mountains!
